If your house was on fire, would you add fuel?
If you saw a pile of money on fire, would you prevent it from spreading, or throw in additional cash?
Obviously, a sensible person would isolate the disaster and let it die. Right? Wrong!
The government has already pumped $20.4 billion into GM and associated companies...and it doesn't end there. It seems the government will pump another $30 billion+ into a company that may not survive. $50 Billion in tax payer, on a bet with bad odds.
Obama needs to reward his constituents at the UAW. Instead of punishing a union that was the cause of these problems in the first place, he rewards them by giving the UAW a significant stake of ownership in a company backed by the government.
